A little history

In 2012, Joop and Willem worked within Info Support on a knowledge management product in which knowledge and people were connected. We made functionality such as search, profiling, recommendations, and automatic topic recognition. We needed techniques such as classification, clustering, natural language processing, and search techniques. This is how we entered the world of AI & Machine Learning.

With the breakthroughs of deep learning, there was an increasing demand for AI and ML. As a result, we started helping companies build their first machine learning models, and we set up robust MLOps pipelines for them. To challenge customers to start small with AI & ML and to think carefully about how to extract value from a model, Joop has developed the AI Experiment Canvas. This canvas has successfully started the AI journey for many customers.

Since the development of Artificial Intelligence is moving fast, it was logical to cooperate with universities. To support scientific research, we established our Research Center AI. We conduct fundamental research to advance the technology and base our services on scientific research in this Research Center.

While growing in team size within Info Support, we felt a need to break out and focus even more on AI. Therefore to bundle the knowledge and experience in AI and ML, we acquired Aigency in 2022. With the strength of the Aigency brand and the knowledge and expertise of Info Support, we provide high-quality services to our customers.

Our expertise is internationally recognized. For example, our colleagues speak at conferences, write books and articles, and Willem has been honored with a Microsoft MVP AI Award.
